Tried other glue's but they didn't last very long before the came apart. This glue was easy to apply and seem so far to hold. I glued the whole sole back on the shoe and you can't tell that it has been glued. Time will tell.
Actually, pretty impressive stuff (at least, so far.) Adhesive sets up quickly and remains pliable. Fixed my expensive Hoka running shoes in minutes. No morf Shoe Goo for me.
This worked great to secure things on some arctic work boots before they got worse. Easy to work with. Dried as promised.
I bought silver platforms at the thrift store and never wore them because they were silver. After 5 years I wanted to wear them for an event but wished they were black so I dyed them. They fell apart during the dyeing process but this glue put them back together and held amazingly for the whole event!
Bought this when my husband started walking to and front work every day - it took a toll on his shoes. Instead of constantly buying new pairs, we decided to try this glue. It's worked really well - we can get extra months or years out of our shoes - that are perfectly useable, except for the glued parts coming undone. I'd estimate this little tube saved us about $50 per year on buying/repairing shoes. Everyone needs a tube of this in their house. Reduce, reuse, repair, recycle.
One of my favorite New Balance running shoes was having the heel separating from the sole. It was my fault for not untying the show when taking it off (learned my lesson there), but I didn't want to throw them away. This glue did the job. Easy to follow instructions and seems to be good as new now. Highly recommended for fixing running shoes. Can't say about boots, but my guess is it probably works well on any shoes or boots.
Have had problems with multiple "tennis shoe" treads peeling from the sole. On older shoes used another brand of Shoe Glue, but found that failed after several weeks even though I clamped the tread to the sole for 24 hours. On my newest pair of shoes the shoe glue failed the next day. After the shoe glue failed, I went to a shoe repair store and their glue failed in 2 days. Not only has the Boot-fix not failed to date, it requires not clamping because it sets in 1-2 minutes. A great produce for repairing soles.
There are other brands of shoe glue out there & from my experience, it doesn’t last & just an all around pain. This glue IS the real deal! I was skeptical because package says, ‘no clamps needed’ - and yeah, in fact there’s no clamps needed. I used this on a pair of pointed heels & it worked like a charm!
Just the best glue on the market for ease, low odour and strength. I have a 400+ vintage sneaker collection and have repaired and restored dozen of pairs. Tried 20 or more thin set flexible ' superglues' . This wins hands down. Not a bulking or construction glue. For that go Shoo Goo BUT this has a stronger and faster grab
The whole bottom part of my shoe had fallen off and I tried a few different kinds of glue which didn’t work before I decided to see if there was shoe glue that would be more flexible but still strong. This was the first one that came up on amazon so I decided to give it a shot. It worked perfectly!!! My shoe hasn’t fallen apart again. I’m so glad because it’s my favorite pair of shoes and my grandma gave them to me so there have a lot of sentimental value. If your shoe is broken you should give this a shot
