How to Use Shoe-Fix and Boot-Fix Glue

Clean

Wipe away dirt and dust. Surfaces should be clean and dry.

Apply a thin bead

Apply a thin, even bead of Shoe-Fix Glue to one surface.

Press 10-45 sec

Align the surfaces and press firmly for 10 to 45 seconds.

Let it set

Let it set for at least 1 hour before use. Full cure in 24 hours.

Works on leather, rubber, canvas, suede, and synthetics

For best results, use on clean, dry surfaces and let the repair fully cure before heavy wear.

Troubleshooting

Make the repair hold longer

Most repair issues come from surface prep, glue amount, or moving the bond before it has set. These checks help the adhesive do its job.

  • Clean both surfaces and let them dry before applying glue.
  • Use a thin bead. Too much glue can slow the set and make alignment harder.
  • Press the surfaces together firmly for 10 to 45 seconds.
  • Let the repair sit for at least 1 hour. Allow 24 hours for a full cure.
